People who take my classes or workshops get me. The real me. Not presenter me, but who my kids and husband get everyday. They get access to who I am as a person not a persona. They get 11 years of experience as a birth professional. They get the knowledge that I have gleaned from hundreds of books, thousands of videos, a decade of interviews with my heroes. They get my passion for gentle parenting and gentle birth, they get me warts and all. They will get a big dose of my humor and will see me tear up when I talk about the miracle of birth and our place in it. I refuse to hide the ugly and I don’t skirt from the frightening. I don’t sugar coat or fake anything. I am raw and real and some say pretty dang funny. If you break me down like an essential oil you get pure love, humor, truth and emotion.
